Art and Craft Exhibition

This year there will again be a special exhibition of Art and Craft just a short walk down from the Church gates to the historic Odda’s Chapel. The exhibition has been running here for over twenty five years, having been initially successfully established by Peter Lord before he handed over to present director Martin Griffiths who has introduced the Crafts of Sculpture, Bookbinding and Pottery to sit alongside the Painting and Printmaking on show, which will again include the charming illustrations of Kate Dolphin.

This exhibition helps support and is a part of the Deerhurst Flower Festival but entry here is free and work is always for sale. Although there isn’t a card machine as yet, cheques are accepted and work can be reserved for a small deposit and collected later by arrangement. Artists will be around to discuss their ideas and possible commissions.

The exhibition promotes selected Artists/Craftspeople from the region and gives visitors an opportunity to see a diverse range of Fine Art and Craft, which are both traditional and contemporary and visitors are always welcome.

Look out for the Odda’s Chapel Art and Craft Exhibition signs and pop in.

We look forward to seeing you there!
